![]() Probably under-utilised molotovs (but when they remembered, they were not available) and lit the fires in the wrong places.ġ2 diffrent times when MG broke, probably a record. They conceded turn 4 with only an 8-0 and a 3-3-7 unbroken (+1 HS in melee outnumbered 9-1). I agree with a previous AAR that this is a bit of a set piece. In the end the Marines morale and firepower were too much. The Americans got 5 CH on mtr's and passed MC. My Japanese failed to get smoke, failed MC and ELR'ed to boot (my last 5 DR were 11: 10: 9: 10: 7, and that was pretty much a sum of most of this game). Obviously, this was not indicative of all games, but it feels like the Italians MUST get lucky on their attempts to get off the pier immediately or else you should just mulligan and restart. Only about 7 squads made it off the piers, and ultimately they all broke in doing so, or were taken out in CC melees. Each time progress was attempted, a unit would break and prevent movement from anyone behind them. The Italians could never get off the pier. ![]()
